Right now at Friday's, you can order from their entire menu of hearty sandwiches and heaping salads for just $5.00 each. Portions are not reduced for cost, either: you still get the same oversized portion of dressing-soaked greens as ever before (the Shanghai Salad pictured below weighs an approximate 2 pounds without the plate). In addition to this, Friday's also offers killer late-night happy hour specials, with half-off appetizers and $2.00 draft specials (as well as great $2.00 and $3.00 drink specials) from 3:00PM-7:00PM and 10:00PM-close. And despite it being a (gasp) chain restaurant, Friday's has always been a good place for some grub and suds. At times overpriced, this limited-time price slash (made to introduce 9 new sandwiches and salads to the menu, only valid through May 31st) is actually more in keeping with what they should have been charging all along (these same sandwiches and salads typically range $8.00-$11.00).

There are locations all over metro Detroit, though I favor the Dearborn and Troy locations for proximity to work, family and friends.
